I love that one of my first sessions back after this whole COVID mess was a meaningful one. I captured Casen's first birthday smash cake session on the same family property his parents married on! (Check out their January 2019 wedding here). We joked how the farm looked so different in warm, golden light, because on their wedding day it was cold, overcast, and about 45 degrees!
Casen had fun feeding the cows, playing with balloons, and digging into his cake. His cake-smashing skills fall into the "flinging" category, which always makes for great photos. It's still so hard to believe this little dude is already a year old, & it's so cool to see how loved he is by his family!
