It felt so good to have this family in front of the camera again! You may recognize them; I shared Declan's 2nd birthday session in early 2019. At the time, Courtney was expecting his little sister, Evie.
Earlier this year, we were planning Evie's first birthday session when COVID hit. We swiftly put the brakes on that session, they celebrated her first birthday in May, and we finally met up in June! It did not disappoint, either. We utilized the gorgeous backdrop of their family home at Lake Santa Fe (the same spot we did for Declan over two years ago!) & even beat a rainstorm.
I loved that the family dog, grandparents, & aunt were all present for this session! Also present? Super cool thunderclouds in the distance that made for really dramatic light. Declan drove Evie around the yard in his "truck", they loved on their pup, and we ended the session with Evie's cake smash. Check out the cuteness for yourself!
