If you follow my Facebook page, you know it's no secret I have been pining over the trendy but-oh-so-cute 30th birthday milestone sessions for the last year or so. Caro made a passing comment on one of my posts at one point expressing interest, but she wasn't the first. Imagine my elation when she contacted me personally to schedule her own 30th birthday session!
We had about two months to plan, so we stayed in touch via text and email over the holidays. Caro shared her vision board with me, in addition to examples of images she had come across in the past. She mentioned the color scheme she was aiming for, and we got to work with a cake topper, confetti-filled balloons, and the perfect attire for her.
We opted for the grounds of the Historic Thomas Center, right in the heart of Gainesville, FL, and a plain white cake from Sweet Queen based in Newberry, FL. Caro shared her plans of topping the cake with sprinkled donuts, so this worked out perfectly!
A few days prior to her session, she had one last trick up her sleeve: she told me she was attempting to fit into her original quinceañera dress- a dress she wore when she was FIFTEEN! If you're wondering if we pulled this off, feel free to scroll down and admire it in all its beauty...
