When Rebecca reached out to me in July and explained they were seeking an elopement photographer for the fall, I was stoked! I had photographed a couple weddings at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville, FL before, so I was really looking forward to the idea of just moseying around the property with just the bride & groom & their officiant. The icing on the cake: they brought their beloved pup for some photos as well!
We started out by doing a first-look near the koi pond bridge, then made our way over to the bamboo garden for their ceremony. Their dear friend from church served as their officiant, and did a wonderful job facilitating a personal & thoughtful ceremony. After some portraits inside of KBG, we headed out to the parking lot to meet their friends who brought their adorable dog! I loved that the lighting was just perfect, Rebecca wore the coolest Keds, & they were able to celebrate their love in a quiet, intimate way. Her beautiful bridal bouquet? Keith Watson Events designed it!
