Phew! How has it been MONTHS since my last blog post? In 2018, I aimed to start blogging. In 2019, my resolution will be to blog CONSISTENTLY. Kicking off this year by sharing my daughter's images, and I'm hoping to maintain the momentum.
It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the start of 2018, not even making it until midnight with my pregnant self. I was in my third trimester, and feeling every bit of it last January. We were in the midst of transitioning Jack away from his pacifier, into a big-boy bed, AND assembling Jessie's nursery (please recall that her room was not finished until waaaaay after her arrival. #SecondChildProbz). Fast-forward 365 days, and we're celebrating this little lady turning 10 months!
For those of you who know me in "real life", you may have noticed I totally caught second-child syndrome. I may have snapped Jessie's month milestone photos a handful of times in the last 10 months, and have posted them even less! Fortunately the world is still turning, and people are still carrying on...
I'm a little disappointed Jessie doesn't have as well of a documented first year as her brother, but I have hope I will pull through eventually and do something with all of the images I take of her. In the meantime, I'll managed to continue to pull out the camera when I remember and snap away.
Her personality is developing, and it's the neatest thing. If I had to chose one word to describe her, it would be "determined". She is interested in things Jack never showed interest in: opening cabinets, wall outlets. She's also extremely sweet & social. She will try any food, and actually wants to continue eating most things! While Jack had experienced three stomach bugs by 10 months, Jessie brought home pneumonia. Her brother is obsessed with her, nearly to a fault. While he is into hugging & kissing on her, she does not always reciprocate!
Can't wait to see what the next two months hold for us- every week there is change & growth & development!
