This wedding was everything I hoped it would be and more. When I met with Janelle and Joshua for the first time last year for their bridal consultation, we clicked right away. I loved hearing about their proposal, and how they had a fierce appreciation for Disney's "Up". You may recall their engagement session- it was the hot air balloon one! I knew they had plans to incorporate their pup Sally, touches of their favorite Disney movies, and a heavy travel theme. Their vision for their big day was pulled off perfectly with Janelle's creativity and attention to detail, and friends, family, & help from Sarah Dorhn Events. While they reside in the Tampa area, their love story began here in Gainesville. Their ceremony was at the Baughman Center, with their reception following at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens. An all-star vendor crew was on the docket for the day, which included David's Catering, Genius Entertainment, ArborNorth Productions, & the Plant Shoppe Florist. Another cool touch? They brought in a caricature artist to hand-draw images of guests!
I know I sound like a broken record, but this couple is fiercely loved by their family & friends. This was evident by the speeches, words of encouragement, and overall attitude and energy of the day. Oh- and speaking of energy: that dance floor had quite a bit of action all night!
