Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Burris!

Phew... where to begin? Natalie reached out to me an entire year ago about her 2020 wedding, and I knew then we were a good fit. Sure, we had plenty of mutual friends, but it was her laid-back & fun personality that really sealed the deal. Oh, and she mentioned that her reception at Clark Plantation would include a bounce house, Chick-Fil-A catering, & a bunch of kids. You see, Nat serves as a loving nanny for a few families who love her DEARLY. Her & Rob were planning to include their closest friends & kiddos in the wedding festivities and spared no detail! I loved receiving her random updates via text or Facebook messenger throughout the year of planning, sharing her latest & greatest ideas.

In February, I logged into Facebook one Sunday morning to see her wedding venue had burned down due to accidental fire the night before. Not only was I crushed because I loved this venue, I was majorly bummed for Nat & Rob's sake. Fortunately for them & all of the other Clark Plantation couples, the Clarks sprung into action connecting them with other local, available wedding venues as potential sites for their upcoming events. The local wedding venue community extended a huge amount of kindness & generosity, and Nat & Rob quickly found a replacement for their wedding. Then came COVID-19.

The global pandemic was just one more hurdle in their way, but Nat & Rob didn't let it stop them from making their union official! They tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony this past weekend surrounded by their tightest group of friends & family as they looked on from their vehicles. Once the short ceremony concluded, their guests dined on Chick-Fil-A boxed lunches & individually packed Publix wedding cake!

I was so thrilled to be a part of this special day for them, and I'm not any less excited for their fall event!
